Finding Pre Owned Cars for Sale

When looking to purchase a pre-owned car, there are a lot of places that you can start, but some of you may not have an idea on what website may be the best, and which one you should avoid.  In my opinion, you couldn’t be in a better position than now with the Internet, and all of it’s resources.

What websites should I go to find my pre-owned car?

Craigslist.orgCraigslist is by far one of the best free services on the web.  Here, you can post listings for free, and also browse other listings for free.  Sure, the interface isn’t the greatest, but you may be able to find some steals in your local area.

eBay - Another big site that a lot of people overlook is eBay.  Every day, you can find thousands of listings, and if you don’t mind traveling for a few miles, you may find a gem near you.  eBay makes it easy to find what you’re looking for.  A good seller on here is going to list a car with a bunch of photos, as well as a great description.

AutoTrader.com - A publication that used to be huge before the Internet age, is a giant now online as well.  If you head to any local grocery store, or liquor store, you may find this magazine sitting on the shelf.  The cool thing about the website is that you’re able to browse for cars for free.  As for the magazine, you’ll find that you’re going to have to pay for it.

Cars.com - One website that gets passed up a lot is Cars.com.  The reason that it may get passed up is solely based on the fact that a lot of people go to the websites mentioned above.    Cars.com was really big back in the day, but Craigslist took a fairly big market share.  Don’t forget to include this website in your search as well!
